Our dogs - Max

Max is the star of our bunch.
Max has been a part of our extended family now since he was six weeks old. He was so small at that age that he was not expected to survive by his breeder. However, with careful hand rearing by my mother-in-law he survived and is now approaching eleven years old. He recently went to the new vet for a check-up who thought he was only two years old.
Max really has the energy of an adolescent dog. He really enjoys being out and about on long walks. He has a really pleasant, but cheeky personality that can walk up to anyone or anything and not cause upset.
Max is useful in school with dogs who exhibit aggression towards other dogs. Max never picks a fight and always takes the path of least resistance. This is particularly useful where a dog exhibits a fear aggression, as with Max, they soon realise there is nothing to fear. Obviously this is only useful when done in conjunction with other training methods which are tailored to the particular problem at hand.
