1-to-1 Dog Training

Through our 1 to 1 training we can tailor a training plan to the individual needs of you and your dog. We are able to cover more serious issues than we perhaps would cover in group sessions; or, if you and your dog are already more advanced and looking for a new challenge, we can cater for this too.

In 1 to 1 training we may cover the following issues or interests: -


  1. Dog aggression.
  2. House training.
  3. Destructive behaviours.
  4. Dominance.
  5. Advanced obedience training.

If your requirements are not listed above, please make contact with us, as we’re sure we can cater for almost any need.

All 1 to 1 training begins with an Initial Assessment Session. This session will last up to two hours and will take place at your home. During the session, we will assess yourself and your dog, and discuss immediate ways to improve your situation, whatever it may be. We will also work with you to devise a list of learning objectives which we feel we could cover in future sessions.

Dave and I found Monday’s session extremely useful. It was great that we could all sit down and have an informal chat over a cup of coffee and discuss our individual needs. We both gained some good advice on how to act around our puppy (surprising to find out how the small things we do on a day to day basis can affect the training) we are very much looking forward to starting the 6 week puppy training course in order to continue the good work!

Following on from your Initial Assessment Session, you may choose to book a block of four sessions. These sessions last for one hour each and may take place in your home, in your local area, or at another agreed venue, depending upon your individual learning objectives.

Cost £90.00

Owners must supply a photocopy of their dog’s vaccination certificate at the time of booking.

All of our training techniques will be tailored to you and your dog and will be non-violent. We prefer to use "The Thoughtful Approach."
